Kristina and Andy are ENGAGED!

Andy and Kristina are getting Married! How does a "Media Specialist" (Kristina) meet a "Grape Trader" (Andy)? That's a great question. While I work on getting that answered enjoy a short slideshow of their engagement session on Gull Lake.

Geoff and Holly!!!

Holly's bridesmaids were in Blue and Holly had on AWESOME blue shoes and the couples last name is Guitare and Geoff plays one mean AIR GUITARE. So what better music than a little Rockin Roll, Blues mix?

Great day, the rain stayed away and two people committed to the love of a lifetime.

Congrats Holly and Geoff!

Aaron and Maggie

Aaron and Maggie are one more couple that I truly enjoyed getting to know. Very wonderful people and truly in love. What better place to get married than at Camp Foley on Whitefish Lake where they were both camp counselors and where they met.

DREW MICHAEL PAULBECK

My good friend Mike Paulbeck and his wife just had their second child so my wife and I brought them dinner and made some photographs of the little guy.

MY NEW BLOG!

Let me start with a brief introduction of my photography business. I started out shooting everything, senior portraits, family portraits, children portraits, pets, weddings, business head shots, modeling head shots, basically any type of photography that involved photographing people.

Two things lead me to focusing my business on wedding photography.

Wedding photography is more than showing up on the wedding day and shooting and my clients expect more from me as well. Wedding photography is process, during which I get to know my couples and build a relationship with my clients. Reason #1 - I LOVE being able to build relationships with clients and I am the best a doing so with wedding clients.

The highest quality products and services almost always come from business that are focused. I am not interested in being the largest photography studio in my market with the most client and highest volume. I want to be considered the best in the market at what I do. Reason #2 - I want to be the BEST not the biggest.

Enjoy my blog and come back often for updates with images, slideshows, gear talk and technique discussions.
