Lis and Tate grew up here in Brainerd and are returning from St. Paul this summer for their wedding. This past Saturday we headed to the Gull Lake area to shoot their engagement session.

This is the second book that I've made from scratch.
Again, shot by me on my Nikon Camera system, edit and layout done in Photoshop on my Apple Dual G5, printed on my Epson 3800 on Moab Kayenta Matte paper, trimmed, bound, covered and coated all by me.
Wedding Season 2007 is starting to rev-up, so I won't be making any more books for a while, but I really enjoyed making these.
During the experience of making this second book, I am starting to consider offering these to wedding clients. Not to replace the current lineup of albums that I offer, but to be able to offer a truly on-of-a-kind product that is hand produced from start to finish by the artist. Ansel Adams posters are worth about $30 or so, Ansel Adams prints made by a master printer such as Alan Ross run from $500 to a few thousand, Ansel Adams prints, printed by Ansel Adams are worth exponentially more than even those printed by a master printer. Why? Because they are printed by the artist himself.
Now I am no Ansel Adams, but I still think that some of my clients may find extra value in a book or box set, that is captured, edited, printed and bound all by the artist.
We will see.
